Privacy Policy

1. Who this Policy covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Emily, its Android application, support channels, account administration, safety operations, and the pages linked in this notice. Success Exhibition Limited publishes Emily on Google Play under the developer name SuccessExpo. In this Policy, “Emily,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to that service and organization.

Emily is designed for people aged 18 or older. A person under 18 must not create or use an Emily account. An age statement helps apply the restriction but cannot guarantee that every person states their age accurately.

2. Information we handle

Account and profile information

Depending on the sign-in choices available in the app, we may handle an account identifier, email address or phone number, display name, age declaration, language, region, profile image, biography, interests, preferences, settings, and recovery details.

Communication and content

We process text, selected photos or videos, voice messages, support correspondence, reports, blocks, and other content you choose to create or exchange. For a one-to-one audio or video session, live media is technically processed so participants can communicate. We may also process call times, duration, connection quality, participant identifiers, and diagnostic events. Emily does not intentionally record calls unless a separately described feature and valid consent allow it.

Device, network, and activity

We may receive an IP address, device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, network type, access times, feature interactions, crash information, security events, and approximate location derived from an IP address. We may receive advertising ID and purchase status when those functions are enabled.

3. Camera, microphone, and other choices

Emily requests optional access in context. You can deny or revoke permissions in Android settings, although a related feature may then be unavailable.

Camera

Used for a call or media capture only after you choose a feature that needs video.

Microphone and audio

Used for voice in an audio or video session and for a voice message after you activate it.

Media and notifications

Used to select media, receive service or safety alerts, and show relevant account events according to device settings.

Network and device signals

Used to connect the service, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, and maintain reliability.

Camera and microphone content is not used to choose advertising. Android permission access does not by itself mean that information is uploaded or retained.

4. Why we use information

• create, authenticate, recover, and protect accounts;
• provide profiles, messaging, media sharing, voice messages, and user-initiated one-to-one audio or video communication;
• deliver service notices, support, security messages, and purchase-related information;
• diagnose crashes, measure reliability, and improve features;
• detect spam, impersonation, scams, harassment, fraud, illegal content, and security threats;
• review reports and appeals and enforce the Terms of Use and Child Safety Policy; and
• comply with applicable law, valid legal process, and safety reporting duties.

Where a legal basis is required, it may be performance of our agreement, consent, legitimate interests in operating and securing Emily, compliance with a legal obligation, or protection of vital interests in an emergency. The appropriate basis depends on the activity and your location.

5. Sharing and service providers

We share information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described here. Recipients may include hosting, authentication, real-time communication, content delivery, support, analytics, security, moderation, fraud-prevention, advertising, and payment providers. Google Play may process payment credentials; we may receive a product ID, transaction ID, purchase state, currency, entitlement, refund state, and country rather than a complete card number.

We may disclose information to another user when you choose to share it, to an authority when law or a serious safety need requires it, or during a merger, restructuring, or transfer with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. Advertising disclosures may be treated differently under local privacy laws, and available controls depend on region.

6. Retention, security, and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, an active account, safety, fraud prevention, disputes, legal duties, and controlled backup cycles. Transaction, tax, accounting, refund, and chargeback records may be retained for a legally required period, which can be up to seven years in some jurisdictions. Safety and security records may remain while reasonably needed to protect users or comply with law.

We use access controls, encryption in transit, logging, monitoring, provider review, and incident-response practices designed to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security. Emily provides in-app account deletion and an external request method through the Account Deletion guide. Deletion is different from suspension or freezing.

7. Rights and children

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an advertising opt-out. We may verify identity proportionately and may limit a request to protect another person, preserve safety evidence, or comply with law.

Emily is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18 to hold an account. Our Child Safety Policy explains reporting, blocking, review, CSAM handling, and the designated contact.
